I used to see a guy named Callum who I liked (but was $$$) but I can't remember what the name of the salon was. It was very near babeland... like around the corner. That's all I remember. And I saw a girl named Amy at Laicaille (or something like that) and it was in Soho... wish i could help more.
I just found my Joe, I've followed him through 3 salons, now he's at a place called fringe in the LES. He ROCKS THE FREE WORLD. I only go once a year, but that's my own damn fault. Oh, and free bang trims. You will love him, he's soooo laid back, native new yorker, who dresses like he's from Vermont. I'm going next week. You can afford it and you deserve it!!!!!!!
I go to Travis at Bumble & Bumble (downtown salon). Not cheap by any means but he was recommended by my stylist in SF and he has been the perfect stylist from day 1, 5 years ago.
Kyoko Montoya at Ultra on Essex street. She's the most awesomeest, not that expensive, free fringe trims forever (since I only cut the rest of it twice a year) and super nice. and her husband Karl is supersweet and nice too. Doo's and drinks! But reading Melissa I'm about to go get Joe to cut my hair...Ike, tell mommy she should go into blogging for dollars. she's making me want to get that!
