Comments: Secret Pals Questionnaire

hello :)
If you are not fond of mohair because of how it feels to knit it, or the mess it makes, ignore the rest of this comment!
However, if you just don't like to wear it because it is so itchy, I can recommend using any mohair stash you might have to make blankets. I use a pattern that is available from Colinette Yarns (it was published in a few magazines) for a stripey rug that has a "feather and fan" type pattern. It is very light and very warm when finished, and is large enough to cover a medium height woman from shoulder to foot. You can see a tiny picture of the rug on the Colinette website (http://www.colinette.com), in the "Toast and Marmalade" book.
Of course, if you don't have a stash of mohair, then all of this is irrelevant. Oh well.
Hope the socks go well. I enjoy watching their progress!
