I saw TMBG at the old Knitting Factory years and years ago - they opened for themselves as "Count Drinkalot" (wearing cheap plastic vampire masks) and they cracked me up. I keep meaning to buy their 'kids album' for the Martian - probably not all that different from their usual stuff, I'm guessing.
New York City is my all time favorite TMBG song, too. And Another First Kiss, I love that song. :)
