Argyle Jacket

You remember all those designs I was working on earlier this year? When I was eating, sleeping, and pooping (not really, I promise) while knitting? The first of those projects is now up!

This Argyle Jacket is in Twist Collective's Fall Anniversary issue. I don't know what to say about it that I haven't said before about my designs. Love it. It almost killed me. Everytime I say this and everytime I go back for more. I guess I really am a glutton for punishment. It's totally worth all the bobbins, all the duplicate stitch, all the extra knitting that goes into knitted-in hems and front facings. Totally worth it for a gorgeous sweater.

Sportweight Mission Falls yarn, intarsia'd diamonds and duplicate stitched single stitch lines. Waist shaping. All the colorwork is covered by knitted-in hems and facings. Hook and eye closures.

The photography is gorgeous. As soon as I saw the preliminary pictures, I almost fell out of my chair. I immediately had to email all these ladies to thank them for doing a such a fantastic job. Photography makes or breaks a good design and they have such a great photographer, Caroline Bergeron. Her photographs are always lovely.

The jacket would look fantastic in a ton of other colorways as well. I'm thinking about doing a swatching project on them highlighting colorway/yarn options that I think the jacket would be nice in. What do you think? Would you be interested in seeing a bunch of argyle swatches?
