So I tried that 365 self-portrait thing everyone did last year, right? Yeah, that worked for about 2 weeks. It's really hard to keep up doing something everyday. Well, let me rephrase: it was really hard to remember to take a picture of myself everyday. Remember how I did all those cranes? I didn't do them everyday, but pretty damn close. I would like to find something else to do everyday, something like the cranes, but I don't think it's going to be a self-portrait. Nor do I think it's going to be blogging everyday.
What else could I do, everyday, to focus on myself, to do a little meditation on things? Sit-ups? Learn a new word? Learn a new word in Japanese? I really liked doing the cranes, they were a nice little break in the day for myself. It's like it forced me to slow down just for a few minutes. To be productive, not for anyone else, but for me. I kinda want to get that back.
