Laminaria... A Litte Further Along

OK, so... my camera can't handle the color of my laminaria. I've never seen blue get blown out in so many ways. The color in real life is this gorgeous, true cobalt. This photo is pretty close, but it still seems pretty flat as compared to it in real life.

I'm loving the color and the yarn and the shawl pattern. I want to make a big lace cardigan from this Malabrigo Lace Weight. I think it would be the snuggliest, softest, most beautiful and delicate thing ever. And this shawl pattern, Laminaria, is great. Simple, but not boring. Easy to remember, but the pattern changes as you move along. Love it.
