So much for that attempt at being better about blogging. I've done quite a bit in the past month or so. So much that I've been kind of obsessed and can't really think about other things. But I think I'm in a place where I can focus again. Yeay!
Anyway, here's a little update for you.
1. I knit an entire lace hooded cardigan in a month. A lace cardigan on size 2 needles. It almost killed me. Every moment of every day for an entire month was scheduled. It was for knit.1, so I'll have pictures for you when it comes out. Should be in a month or so.
Also, even though I can't show you pictures, I do need to tell all of you to go buy some of the new Koigu silk blend, Mori. It was gorgeous and fantastic to work with. I'll tell you more when I show you the sweater.
2. I moved. Yes, again. But those of you who were following my issues with my old neighborhood know that it couldn't have happened sooner. I was hoping to have my blankie done in time for the new place, but that sweater threw things off a bit. Hopefully soon.
The new house will be a post in and of itself, but I have to tell you I'm loving the new neighborhood. And my new roommate.
3. Pushing Daisies starts on Wednesday night. I still have to decide what kind of pie I'm making. I can't wait!
4. The Holiday Vogue Knitting comes out next week and I have 2 sweaters in it. Yeay!
Ravelry LinkThis is part of a Very Easy, Very Vogue story. It's a super simple little A-line Tank, but it's made in Manos Silk Blend. The colors in that line are just fantastic. And the fabric is lovely and drapey.
Ravelry LinkThis sweater almost killed me. I love the way it turned out and I love all the knitted-in shaping of it, but all that fair isle was a killer. It's beautiful though and totally worth all the work. But if you like the shape of it, and just wanted to knit it in one color, I wouldn't blame you. ;)
OK, no promises of regular updates, but I'll try! I promise!
