Orange Covered

Wow. That last post stayed up there a lot longer than I expected. I've been waiting for a rare sunny day to take pictures for you and that's taken a lot longer than I expected. I finished the green cardigan and love, love, love it. As soon as I can I will have photos for you. And I'm thinking about offering the pattern for sale on the blog. What do you think?

That will be the last of the personal knitting for a month or so. I've got 5 work projects all due within the next month. I don't know how I managed to swing that. So, should you see me out and I don't have knitting in hand, ask me why not. And make me get out my knitting. Seriously.

There is some excitement around the Nipper Ranch. Or what passes for excitement in my work knitting-addled brain. The other night Melissa gave me a set of these prep bowls from the Mario Batali Italian Kitchen Collection. Holy crap, I'm hooked. I want it all. Those prep bowls are so smart. 2 measurements per bowl, great for getting everything prepared ahead of time, and an awesome color. Next I want this mixing bowl set and this cast iron skillet pan and... and... and... yeah, my amazon wishlist is kinda full of Mario Batali now. Who knew? You've created a monster, Melissa. The Nipper Ranch will soon be even more covered in orange than it already is.
