Boston Vacation

The swans at Prospect Park. It was nice to start out our vacation hanging out at the Boathouse in Prospect Park. Very pretty day. prospect_park_swans.jpg

Apparently, jellyfish have taken over Boston Harbor. We all know how much I like jellyfish.

Checking out the jellyfish.

We stayed a block from the beach in a North Shore town. Even though it rained the entire time (sorry, guys, that was my fault!), it was still nice to be able to go sit by the beach at night.

I miss being near the beach. Listening to the waves, smelling the water, feeling the breeze... lovely.

I should have taken a picture of the car we got. We rented a Mazda 6 for the week. Driving around for a week makes it very very clear how much I miss having a car. As much as I miss the beach, I miss driving so much more.

As far as crafting goes... meh. There was no knitting, but some crane folding. Lots of crane folding. I just had no interest in knitting. All my yarn just hung out in our hotel room while I went out and had fun. It worked out well for us.

Crane Count: 519.
