Anal, much?

Who spends their lunch break making a to-scale schematic of their room and all their furniture to try to find the best way it all fits together? Umm... well, me.

I made this little model and then everyone at the lunch table helped me figure out what went where. It was fun. Like playing paper dolls. Only with my bedroom and furniture.

I still don't have bookshelves or yarniture or a TV table, but I'm thinking about getting a couple of these. In fact, those are the bookshelves I referenced in the schematic. Do you have any suggestions for (smallish) yarniture? Perhaps something 24-30" wide? 'Cause that's what I got room for.

Now I just need to, you know, move all the furniture around. That's going to be fun.

And umm, knitting? Not so much sadly.
