Yes, I finally have finished pictures for you. Or, you know, close to finished anyway.

I love Tubey! It was sooo much fun to knit. There need to be more patterns like this: quick, easy, but interesting at the same time. Cassie, you rock the house, lady.
Please ignore the fact that all the ends aren't woven in... I figure since I won't be able to wear this sweater for another 3 months anyway, I have some time to kill before tackling all those ends. I really wish I could wear it now though. It feels so good up against the skin. I have some orange Merino 2000... It's basically the same composition as the Aurora 8, just in a finer gauge. Maybe I need to figure out something to knit with that...

The sweater was knit with Aurora 8 in colors 1555 (periwinkle) and 18 (chocolate) on size 7 needles. I sized it down the body a little bit, but probably should have made the sleeves and the back piece a little smaller also, but I'll know better next time. Because, yeah, I think I might need another of these.

Please excuse me now while I go eat a bunch of popsicles. It's too damn hot for modeling wool sweaters.
I also forgot to tell you I changed my hair.
Yeay for Pink! I'm totally the same color as my blog now. :)
I've not told you about this yet, have I? I feel a little weird about tooting my own horn, but I'm going to do it anyway.
Have you seen this magazine?

You should go buy it. Really. There are lots of cute patterns in it, and one of them is mine. That's right. I have a print published pattern.

It's just a cotton tank top, but I'm quite proud of the shape. It's pretty cute, even if I do say so myself.
So, yeah. Yeay for me! *blush* Thanks to Julia for pushing me to do this.
Who me, procrastinate? No, never.
Fly, little Dulaan hats, fly!
OK - Nancy and Ekeby didn't really get along. The yarn just doesn't fit the pattern. I love both, and will be using both, just not together. So, we're working with Nancy at the moment and at some point I'll make Ekeby. I've wanted to make that little vest for years now, I think I can wait a little bit longer. I just need to find the perfect yarn. Maybe I'll have to break down and find some Iro in a good color.
This is the way Nancy is knitting up. Lovely, no? I think we're doing a fitted, cap-sleeve yoke sweater much like the Stripes Go Round from Interweave a couple years ago. That was my jumping off point anyway. I really dig the way the colors are spiraling up, but I worry that it will look strange and different at the top when I add more stitches for the sleeves. That's the problem with variegated yarns, it works right in one spot, but change things just a little bit and it'll look weird and strange in a heartbeat.
Cross your fingers for me that it'll turn out ok.
I'm going to the Bryant Park movies tonight. I'll be there early to get a good spot. Let me know if you want to join.
