Dulaan Hat 3

I realize you've been seeing a lot of little Dulaan hats lately, but really they're the only bloggable knitted objects I've got right now. I'm either knitting gifts, knitting for work, or fighting with SNv.2 over what it wants to be. (Yes, my knitting and I are fighting. More about that in a moment.) So, I make hats. Little hats that only take a couple hours. Cute hats for cute little Mongolian children. I think I'm as sick of hats as you are and am going to start on mittens next.

So, Slippery Nipper v.2 has decided that it doesn't just want to follow on the heels of Slippery Nipper v.1, it wants to be it's own sweater. So, we're having differences of opinion on its neckline, on its sleeves, and on its name. We're going to have to sit down and come to an accord over these things when I'm not quite so busy, but until then, no new sweater for Maryland. I'll probably have it with me so you can pet it though, Silvia. I know how much you want to. :)

I Can't Wake Up

I'm running on "Slow" this morning: slow body, slow brain, etc. From the moment I "woke up" and drug myself from bed, I have not been able to perk up. I feel half asleep sitting up. I almost fell asleep on the train. I don't have the brain to do my job. I don't have the brain to knit. I don't have the brain to do anything other than put my head on my desk and take a nap. I just want to go home, but that's not really an option. What do you do on days like this?

I can't wait for Maryland. I need a vacation.
