Dulaan Hat 2.2

I'm a greedy girl. I've been wearing this hat for a month now and want to keep it. Now what kind of charity is that? Poor Dulaan kids, they've got greedy American girls keeping their nice warm knits. So, out of guilt, I've made Dulaan Hat 2.2. Let see if I can keep my greedy little paws off this adorable little cap.

I love the way my hair looks in these pictures. And do you see my office mate back there? Like his tie? Mr. Octopus likes to get dressed up for work.

We mourn the passing...

... of my iPod. It's been doing this weird skipping thing for a few weeks now and I knew I was going to need to get a new one soon. I just didn't realize how soon. It's been such a good iPod, it's lasted me for 5 years. Longer than most 1st or 2nd generation iPods have lasted. It wasn't even it's fault, really. Poor little iPod fell out of my pocket on my neighborhood stairs. It now only plays mono.

I killed it!!! Wahh!

After work I'm headed to the Apple Store. *sigh*

So... you know how I had that whole post yesterday about needing to buy needles and how I was just going to stop on the way home? Yeah, I somehow managed to forget all about that on the way to the train. It wasn't until I was about half-way home and pulled out my knitting before I realized I had forgotten all about going to The Point. Argh.

But that's ok, because last night I tried on the SNv.2 and realized I had decreased too much in the armhole region. So, I need to re-knit the top anyway. All that work on Sunday, gone. We'll just have to watch a whole bunch of Buffy again soon, ladies.

Need Needles

My needle collection isn't big enough. I'm done with the body of Slippery Nipper v.2 and would like to start the sleeves, but need a size 8 16" circular needle. It's a trip to The Point for me after work.

My god, this is going fast. I'll definitely have this done for Maryland.
