I'm a Ramblin' Girl.

So, this is the post where I talk for 5 hours and you sit there and listen thinking, "Will she ever shut up?" Yeah, that'll be fun, right? Uh, yeah, let's get this party started. :)

I didn't get so much done on my SNv.2 last night. I went to yoga (my hardest class yet) and by the time I got home, ate dinner, and took a shower, it was all I could do to crawl into bed. I even forgot to set my alarm. Oddly enough, as tired as I was, I still managed to wake up on time (well, for the most part). So, yeah, look at that picture from yesterday, add two stripes, and that's about where the sweater is now.

Yesterday someone found my blog with an MSN search of: I work too hard and need a good hard fucking. Now, while this may in fact be true, I'm not sure I want people finding my blog that way. Perhaps I need to tone down my language a little? And that poor person who was looking for naughtiness got a knit blog instead. So sad for them.

What can I do with 600yds of heavy worsted yarn? I think a full sweater might be pushing it, but there's got to be something, right?

It's not knitting related, but it has a sheep on it. And really, who can pass up a Philip K. Dick reference? And since we're so damn pirate obsessed around here (to the point of being annoying at times) this shirt rocks the house. I used to read a lot of webcomics before I got into the knit blogging thing so much. On my links page you can find a few comics that I used to enjoy. If you have some free time, you should definitely check them out.

Well, that wasn't nearly as long as I expected. I think I had more to talk about than this, but I can't remember what right now... *shrug* You got off light! :) Have a great weekend, kids!

Well, that's quick.

Ummm... I swear I didn't just knit all day yesterday. I actually got some other stuff done. It's just hard to believe considering I swatched, did the all the math and designing, and knit the first 6" of a sweater in the round in 24 hours. What the hell? I swear I actually did other things than knit...

At this rate I'll have a new sweater for Maryland.

Can you tell I love this sweater? The colors look sooooo cool together. The yarn is really delicate, though, and the fact that I'm knitting it so loosely isn't helping the matter any. I'm afraid I'm a little too hard-wearing on my sweaters for this. I hope I don't ruin it.

What is this? It's some Suss Cousins yarn. The top is Ultrasoft in Moss and the bottom is Angora in Pomegranate.

What is it going to be? Slippery Nipper v.2. Now with stripes!

Piratical Sleeve

Here's pirate dress sleeve #1 finished. I got quite a bit done on sleeve #2 yesterday as well. Maybe, one day, I'll be finished with this thing. Though it's not the knitting that's a pain in the ass. It's the sewing up that just might kill me. But I can't wait for it to be finished! I love this dress and I'm totally going to wear it all the time.
