Knitting for Myself?
Well, sort of knitting for myself. I'm knitting things I want to knit anyway.
This is a wee little hat for Dulaan. I'm not sure what the yarn is; it was a band-less ball I found in the yarn bin at work. It's a lovely soft yarn that will be super warm. It's not my favorite color, but I'm seriously tempted to keep this little chapeau.
But I won't. I will resist the temptation as I want to make a couple things for Dulaan before the deadline in June. I've not done anything for them yet, so I'd like to make up a little for lost time. It's not exactly knitting for myself, but it's not knitting for work, so that's a step in the right direction.

Mee-ARRR!
I hope my Booty Pal likes the Pirate Kitty I've made for her. I had more fun making this little guy than I've had in a loooong time. It's Jess Hutch's kitty pattern at Knitty that I changed a little bit. I need to make myself one next. Hell, I need an army of pirate kitties and robots. One day I will have it!
Friday is the deadline for mailing out your Booty Swap packages. Arrrr you going to be ready? I've just got a little more to put together and then I'll have mine ready. Hope you're having fun! Let me know when you recieve your package and I'll post a link. Yeay for swappage! Pirate-y treasure swappage!
Until then, Pirate Kitty and I are having a lot of fun hanging out together.
