PILLOW FIGHT!!!

Pillow fight in Union Square tomorrow afternoon at 2. I think I might have to go. And if it's not too cold, I think I might have to wear my jammies.

RE: Movie List. The list was just a beginning. We realize that there were a lot of movies missing from the list, but when Ryan got to 200 he felt like that was pretty good. I felt like there should have been some Mel Brooks movies on there (I mean, how can you have a movie list without Young Frankenstein), and what about Monty Python, etc, etc. But once you get to that point, how do you stop? All your suggestions were good ones, and I added them to my Must Rent list, but it could only be so long.

Baby's First Crochet

I needed to learn how to crochet for work (you can't really check crochet patterns if you don't know what the hell they're talking about), so I spent the afternoon learning. I, of course, don't understand or hold with the whole "learning to walk before you run" thing. I did a tiny little swatch where I double crocheted and single crocheted a couple times and then I jumped right into a flower pattern. It was an easy flower, but way more difficult than going back and forth.

Go me! It's like Fischer Price's Baby's First Crocheted Flower Project. I'm kind of intrigued and now want to make a crocheted flower scarf or something. I won't ever make a sweater or anything, but I dig the flowers and stuff...

Stuck in a Blizzard with No Knitting

It's a little bit like hell. I spent Saturday night and all of Sunday at my friend Monica's house. It was fun and all, but I had no knitting with me (she a smoker). I loved the blizzard-y weather, while, you know, I was inside. Getting home last night was no mean feat.

Amazing the difference, right? Yeay for my first snowstorm! It was really fun and beautiful. Even the snow in the snow boots, even the struggling through snow up to my mid-thighs trying to get home (only a short way). I like it. But I mostly I like it from the inside looking out. But, sadly, with all the sitting around I did yesterday, I got no knitting done at all. Grr.
