Postcard Swap & Blog-i-versary

I signed up for My Little Mochi's postcard swap earlier this month. I then realized that I am not quite the kind of crafter that they're looking for: I knit, but I don't draw. I tried for a long time to figure out what I could do for this that didn't include drawing a stick-figure dog and scrawling Happy New Year! across the top... Then I realized... Photoshop might be a bit of a cop out, but it is my friend. A little google search for cute puppy pictures, a little help from Chris template-wise, a little playing with text, and voila! Cute Year of the Dog cards!

This is them at the post office just before they got dumped in the slot. I had a lot of fun with the swap, but I'm not sure I want to do it again. I'm just not that kind of crafter. :(

Also-Happy Blog-i-versary, nipperknits! We're 2 years old today. It's really odd thinking that I've done this for two years now. I've had a lot of fun though! And how incredibly fitting that I get to go spend the day with knitters that I never would have met if it hadn't been for this crazy thing on the internet. I'm very happy to have met all of you, thank you for reading.
