Year of the What?

After much searching through the stash, I have decided that I hate all my sock yarn. I dug, I found, I swatched, I dug and swatched some more... all that effort to decide that I don't like anything that I already have. This is too scratchy, I hate that color, why do I even own this? This is where the Point comes in. Oh, and a little impulse purchase of Claudia's Handpaints. I've been eyeing this yarn for a while now, and finally just had to have it.

Everyone meet Chocolate Cherry. Isn't she lovely? This yarn looks like Koigu, texture-wise, but blows the pants off of it in softness. Don't get me wrong. I love Koigu and have a sweater made out of it that I wear right next to my skin, but this stuff? Like butter, dahling.

Yeay for travel projects!! This Year of the Stash thing isn't really working out all that well.
