Fantasy TV**

**Said in the same way Fantasy Island was said by Ricardo Montalban.

Some of us knit blog girls love the TV. Love the TV a little too much at times. So when Michelle decided to restart Everybody Loves Saturday Night and wanted some company, she knew just where to look.

We'll have catty bitch-ness. We'll have interesting speculation. We'll have freaking out about Lost. You know, all that stuff that comes up when you obsess about stuff. You know all about that, don't you, you crazy knitter, you. Besides, anything that has a huge fantasy TV like we do on our banner has to be great, right? Come comment and join the fun.

"I Need New Hair" Contest!

We've got a new contest here at nipperknits... It's the "I Need New Hair" Contest. It's a little different from the way we've done it before where I do my hair and then you guess what I did. Now, I want a new hair color and can't decide what to do. It's up to you guys to come up with hair colors for me to choose from. There are still Fabulous Prizes, though!! Yeah, baby, Fabulous Prizes...

Earlier this week I got the OK from my supervisor for interesting hair, so I want to have something wild, but not so wild that they take away my hair priviledges. Probably not green, if multicolored only two colors, or a mottled effect of more than two colors maybe, you get the picture.

What hair color do I want? You have until Friday night at midnight to email me your entries. Make me pretty! The entry I pick gets a Fabulous Prize and I think there might be an "I Wish I Could Do That" Prize as well. We'll just have to see. I'll have pictures of the new hair and a list of winners on Sunday.

Yeay for New Hair!

***edit: I forgot to tell you that I cut my hair pretty short. It's about 1 inch in the back and about 4 inches in the front at the bangs. Thanks, Amy, for reminding me.

Operation Santa

I've never heard of Operation Santa before, but I'm totally doing it. What a great idea to answer letters to Santa from underprivileged kids. I think I'm going to go sift through letters on Thursday night, so if anyone is interested in having me pick them up one as well.

The holiday knitting is going well, but I've still got *a lot* to do. I'm only freaking out a little bit though, as I think I have plenty of time if I spend it wisely. I've gotten one Weasley ornament done, only about 9 more to go, grr. Toys: not started yet. Socks: Easily finished in time to be sent out. Other stuff: coming along. I think I'm OK, but I can't do anything except knit in my spare time.

I have decided January will be knitting/crafting for myself month, though. I won't knit anything for anyone else during the entire month. Here's my list of things I want to do: finish red alpaca shrug, finish Socks that Rock, dye Cascade Fixation for a green/pink Stripes Go Round, and of course Ron Weasley v.2. I realize I won't get all of this done in a month, but I want to try. :) And in February I'll start knitting for other people... I guess.

Your Superhero Profile
Your Superhero Name is The Ring Liberator
Your Superpower is Undead
Your Weakness is Cotton Candy
Your Weapon is Your Atomic Bow
Your Mode of Transportation is Slide
What's your Superhero Name?

Interesting. I dig that my superpower is Undead, but what's up with my mode of transportation? Slide? OK...
