I'm digging this whole spinning thing. Having fun with the fiber and the plying. Favorite so far:

Merino Silk Lovely-ness

I love this stuff sooooo much. I keep it by my desk and rub it on my cheek while I'm reading blogs. Pretty weird, I realize, but that's fine. You all knew I was pretty weird before this. I can't wait to get into that amazingly colored wool/tussah blend. Yum!

And the plying:

I love the color combination, doesn't it just make you bilious? It makes me see stars it's so bright, contrast-y, and crazy. I don't, however, like the way the different yarns look together. The green is very fuzzy and raw looking while the pink spun up very smoothly. The the pink was the corridale and feels really good, but the green was my weird practice roving. I still like it together, but if I went all out and added random stuff to it like Pluckyfluff I would enjoy it more.

(Can I just tell you how much I love Bacon & Eggs?)

Veronica Mars

OK, I'm watching Veronica Mars and getting addicted, I think. Does someone have old episodes of it? Who's up for a marathon?

I took a temp job that I'm starting tomorrow. It not something I want to stick with, but it's something to take my mind of money while I continue to search for something permanent. Or, maybe they'll like me so much they'll find something else for me to do and hire me for real. The job is at a law firm so I can't have fun hair, so I would really, really prefer a more informal environment, but I'll take anything for now, right?
