Last week I got my last Secret Pal present. I have to say that this was a great Secret Pal time. Thank you so much, Mz. Mar! Go check out the pictures of her puppy. She is the most adorable thing ever! I just can't get over her. Also go check out Jen's blog. She was my Pal and a ton of fun to buy to stuff for. I hope you enjoyed your stuff, lady!
So... What did I get in my latest present? A very cute little sheep plushie, book darts, a magnetic memo pad, and a cute sheep magnet, yummy smelling soap, and a Chibi, a cool mug and candles, and Magic Stripes sock yarn in some really great colors! It was a huge box! Thank you so much!

Friday I saw this. It's a plushie of ASIMO! ASIMO is a helper robot being developed by Honda. He can run, dance, talk, recognize people... It's the coolest little robot ever. And whoever this is with the ASIMO plushie in their car... well, they're pretty damn cool as well. I think I need one.
I've moved the contest date back to Monday. Make sure you get your guesses in by 6 Monday evening, because that's when I will be posting the results and the pictures. Good luck on your guessing! I'm getting some really great, detailed entries. Good job kids!
OK, kids. It's Contest Time here at the Nipper Ranch. As we all know, I have to do the Pseudo-Normal thing for work and have to find some color that is interesting, but not outrageous. (So sad.) So, it's very important that I have a contest for this one just so I can have a little fun.
Good for me, good for you... But you're going to have to work for the Fabulous Prizes this time. You can't just say "red" and be right, because that covers a whole huge range of colors. You're going to have to be pretty specific with your color descriptors.
Email me your guess on what Pseudo-Normal or as Rebekah said, "Office Proper" color (or colors) I am currently letting soak into my hair (get really detailed) and hopefully you can win Fabulous Prizes! I'm thinking the Prizes won't all be yarn this time, so you non-knitters feel free to guess as well.
I'll post pictures and winners on Sunday afternoon, so get your answers in before then. I hope all you lucky kids going to MS&W can get your answers in! Or should I wait until Monday to post the contest results to give them a little more time?
Carolyn brought up a very good point in my comments Monday.
I have a question though. I've got a short, messy, bleach blonde and dark roots haircut now and I'm getting antsy for a new color. What should I do that will be Pseudo-Normal, but still fun? Any suggestions?
Hi there! I've been a crap blogger lately, I know. Sorry about that. I've been finishing school and will be much better now, though.
Yes, on that "finishing school" thing... I'm done. I'm *finally* done with school. I took my last class. I've written my last paper. Ever. I've been alternately laughing and crying for a good week now. I've been in and out of school for 9 years and I wondered if I would ever finish. Now that I have, I don't quite know what to do with myself. Part of me wants to look forward to Grad school, but another part of me wants to never take a class again. Maybe in a few years I'll be in a different place in my head and I'll be able to think about school again. Right now, I'm just going to enjoy my mindless job and save up money to get back to NY.
I have been doing a lot with my new-found free time. I dyed some yarn on Saturday. I still have a lot to do, but I ran out of dye. What I did turned out very good though. I'll have to show you pictures soon. Sunday I went to see Sin City. I enjoyed it. It was incredibly violent. I squeaked and covered my eyes more than once, but it was very pretty. Tonight I'm potting plants. ...I'm liking this whole No Homework thing.
