Hi!
Well, hello there, strangers! I just wanted to say that yes, I am alive and will be blogging again soon. I should be running cable to my room Monday (hopefully) and will post (pictures!) as soon as possible. Ron turned out great and I wore it Christmas day. Yeay! I've had lots of knitting time, so I've also finished the Snake Scarf that Carolyn bought for me when we were in Rhinebeck. (Look! Mindy made one, too! Great minds think alive, I guess!) And I'm now working on a panda bear hat for Roommate Amy to replace one I gave her last year that she lost in the airport just before Christmas. She called me near tears asking for a new one. It was so sad. It's reactions like that that make knit-gift giving so rewarding. Some people just don't understand what goes into knitting a present, even if it is just a hat. But when someone really understands the time and love put into a knit-gift and it is just as special to them as it is to you, that makes up for eveything. So, of course I would be more than happy to make her another panda bear hat!
