Well, the front half of the camisole is done. I now have to do the back. I still have a decision to make, though. I only have 3 balls of yarn in the same dye lot and one ball of a second. I did the front in one dye lot and must decide how to proceed with the back. Do I do the correct (pain in the ass) method and alternate the balls? Or do I just say screw it and go with the easy way and knit as much as I can with the regular color? This will leave me with a small (2-3 inch) block of color that isn't quite the same as the rest. I know what I should do, but does that mean I will actually do it, or will I be a lazy cow? We shall see, we shall see.
Tomorrow, I get paid. Yeay! Groceries! Hair-dye (because my roots are getting out of control!) Yarn! (Alison and I are starting a knit along of this scarf from Fall's Interweave Knits. So I need some Schaeffer "Anne." Need it, I do.) Ribbon for my camisole! More black clothes for work! (Stupid all black dress code... don't they know that I'm a knitter and need tons of color in my life?) I will probably have a ton of pictures for you tomorrow evening. I know I love to live vicariously through other people's shopping...
Well, it's laundry day here at the Nipper Ranch. That means, running around my apartment building in my pyjamas, not having to brush my hair, and masses of knitting time. Woohoo!

This is what I've been working on lately. I started on Wednesday when I went to the Knitting Meetup. There was no way to could set in the sleeves of the Wavy-Line sweater and talk to people, so I had to come up with a new project. This is what was found. Also from the Vintage Knits book, this pattern is also turning out to be a fun knit. It's much easier than the Wavy-Line Sweater, but that's perfect for knitting and chatting. I'm using this green as the contrast color and Paton's Grace as a substitute for Rowan Cotton Glace. I just need to find some pretty green ribbon for the neckline. Anyone up for some ribbon shopping? I also need to come up with a nice name for this sweater. It's only called "Lace Camisole" in the book and I like my sweaters to be named something much more fun. What do you think?
