Yesterday!!! Christ, aren't they frightning?
I was totally wrapped up in wedding stuff yesterday that I couldn't get here to do the final countdown. So we're just going to pretend that I had this done yesterday. I'm so excited about seeing this movie, but it will probably be tomorrow before I can see it.
Hope everyone is doing well. I will be catching up on blogs on Monday and will once again have access to email. Have a fun weekend!
Moving day and I'm already exhausted. The car isn't even fully packed yet. I love a road trip though. This is going to be a great weekend.
Itinerary:
Knittting info: As I still have not received my R2 book (grr) I am going to be knitting a lace scarf to go with my Washi Tank. I finished the orange-y one. I enjoyed making the lace scarf, but I'm worried about it being cotton. I don't want to have to block it every time I wear it and then it immediately roll up on me. Any ideas on how to make it not roll like that? Pictures next week. (I'm on the Boy's computer and can't upload pictures.)
I did, however, make a special effort and uploaded the pictures for today and tomorrow on this countdown. Don't I think ahead. ;) 1 day. What is it we're counting down again?

This is the yarn for Trashy/Hirsute (we still haven't decided.) I just got it today and I am very excited and a little miffed at the store that I bought it from. I'm excited because who isn't excited about having new yarn. I'm a little miffed because they didn't include the R2 booklet with the yarn. It was on back order or something, and it was to be shipped out yesterday. Sigh. I move tomorrow. When am I going to get my book to start my next project now? What I'm really upset about is that they didn't tell me anything about the book being shipped a week after the other stuff. If they had, I would have told them to ship it to NY or canceled and bought it somewhere else. With my mail being re-routed, I wouldn't worry so much, but I think they are going to ship it UPS. UPS is bad about leaving stuff on the porch whether its raining or not. Grr. I have to figure out something to knit on my trip. ;( So, yeah. Slightly miffed.
I just got David Sedaris' new book! I can't wait to read it. But I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban to get ready for the movie, so David will have to wait. It is very, very tempting though. I want to savor the David Sedaris goodness, but I know that I will get sucked in and read it all in one sitting. Wheeeee! I love new books that you know are going to be great!
Evil Kitty has the cutest little skirts ever. My favorite is the Starry Night Tutu. Too bad it is a one of a kind and already sold. I'm not quite sure I could pull that skirt off anyway, but it would be nice to think that I am still young enough (or that my legs are halfway good enough) to wear a cute little tutu skirt. Plus I really like their logo. The e with horns is really fun. Link via Knit Fit
Almost done with the moving stuff. I leave Thursday. Let's see if I can get everything done before then so I'm not up all night Wednesday.... Here's hoping!
